Changing times.

Here's nice cartoon and a joke with good moral. Not related but still kindof common. Got these in my email inbox and thought to share with ya'll.

How Technology changed us...

Herez a good one.

Apparently, a self-important college freshman attending a recent football game took it upon himself to explain to a senior citizen sitting next to him why it was impossible for the older generation to understand his generation.

'You grew up in a different world, actually an almost primitive one', the student said, loud enough for many of those nearby to hear. 'The young people of today grew up with television, jet planes, space travel, man walking on the moon. Our space probes have visited Mars. We have nuclear energy, ships and electric and hydrogen cars, cell phones , computers with light-speed processing.. .and more.'

After a brief silence, the senior citizen responded as follows:
'You're right, son. We didn't have those things when we were young....... .so we invented them. Now, you arrogant little shit, what are you doing for the next generation?'

The applause was amazing....

:) partly true and scary though we as a generation have all the luxuries but at the same time its scary to think what are we heading towards and what are we going to leave for our coming generation

Totally and with so much hi tech and cars, people have no time to walk even to nearby shops or markets.

when I was little, I still remember ard 530-630pm was the best time ever, it was my FUN time.. I can go out, play at the playground.. nowadays my nephews just stay at home busy playing psp, ps2, gameboy.. You name it, they have it.. they have all.. now they are asking for Wii... Wow, so true and yet so sad.... Im not sure who's missing what here...
